In this painting the exalted feeling of liberation is expressed through the soaring strong forces of the early new optimism achieved with the personal protection attained as a result of Covid vaccination. The hesitation and fear still exist in the greys but the sharp contrasting freedom and optimism depicted as a dominant cadmium yellow pierces through the depression of long term isolation of the shades of blue.
